From Point A to Point B
Our human world has freqently been influenced by perceptive and productive people who have recognized the direction in which it was heading and taken it there in a creative way. Rarely, however, has anybody changed the direction itself.
I think it's possible to make a case, perhaps not airtight, for an individual or two. But I definitely debated saying "never" instead of "rarely". I would also, however, like to leave open the possibility for it to happen sometime in the future.
